Ah yes...the four greatest words in the English language: Pitchers and Catchers Report.
This happened for the Diamondbacks on Sunday, leading us to a barrage of links today. Away we go...
1) Steve Gilbert's official take for MLB.com.
2) Steve Gilbert has more info on his blog.
3) Nick Piecoro has a lot of information on his blog, including Clay Zavada being a no-show and considering retirement.
4) Nick again with the D'Backs working on their identity. Odd, I thought they were still going to be the Diamondbacks :)
5) Finally, here's a story about how the Diamondbacks need to be positive. You know what makes you positive? Winning more games.

PITCHERS AND CATCHERS REPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There really aren't enough exclamation points in the world to explain how excited I am about pitchers and catchers reporting to spring training and workouts beginning today.
Rather than let us enjoy it, Nick Piecoro over at the AZ Republic is starting a debate that will most likely linger through most of Spring Training: Dan Haren or Brandon Webb on Opening Day.
He lays out the two sides of debate at the link above.
My vote: Dan Haren.
I'm all for honoring the veteran who has been with you for years, but Haren is the better pitcher right now.

It's February!
I, for one, am extremely happy that January is over. January is probably my least favorite month of the year mainly because of the weather (although I'm not real big on November either). February isn't great, but it is the month that we hear the four greatest words in the English language: "PITCHERS AND CATCHERS REPORT"
There's a lot of work to be done between now and Opening Day, but the Silver Hawks staff is working hard to make sure the 2010 season is bigger and better than ever. This is not a final list of everything we'll be doing, but a promotional schedule has been posted here: http://southbend.silverhawks.milb.com/promotions/index.jsp?sid=t550
Time permitting, I'll check back in this afternoon with some baseball-related links.
