LAST GAME: The struggles for J.R. Bradley (LP, 2-11) continued on Friday night as he allowed seven runs over 4.0 innings in a 7-4 loss to the Lake County Captains. Giovanny Urshela had a three run homer and Alex Monsalve added a solo blast to pace the Captains’ offensive attack. Roberto Rodriguez homered for South Bend while four other players had two hits, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the big deficit. J.D. Reichenbach (WP, 4-1) allowed just two runs over 5.1 innings for the win and Dale Dickerson (SV, 2) picked up the save for Lake County.
TEAM NOTES:
· Silver Hawks pitchers have walked just 200 batters this season – the fewest in the MWL.
