LAST GAME:  A slugfest on Wednesday night saw the Burlington Bees out-homer and outlast the South Bend Silver Hawks 9-7 at Community Field.  Douglas Landaeta, Josh Whitaker, and A.J. Kirby-Jones all homered for Burlington, with Kirby-Jones picking up a two run single later in the game to finish with four RBIs in the offensive explosion.  The Hawks had homers from Yazy Arbelo and Zach Walters, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Bees offense.  J.R. Bradley (LP, 2-8) suffered the loss, allowing six runs over 3.1 innings.  Tyler Vail (WP, 1-2) earned the win despite allowing five runs over 5.0 innings.  Daniel Tenholder (SV, 8) pitched a perfect 9th for the save.
