Greetings From Peoria and Playoff Race

An oddity in that we stayed in Burlington last night, then drove into Peoria this morning.  From what I understand, there were not enough hotel rooms at the team hotel last night, so we had to stay one extra night in Burlington.  Whatever...it all works out.

Below is a look at the standings entering play tonight with nine to go in the first half.  (Note: Due to rainouts, not every team will play 70 games and some teams have doubleheaders still.  As we get closer to the finish of the first half, the picture will become a bit clearer, but for now, I will only mark a team as mathematically eliminated if they have no hope of catching the wild card).
