From the Notes (April 18th)

How about that first victory last night?!?! Man, it feels good to win one.

Here are some of the interesting notes today:

TEAM NOTES:
• The 2008 Silver Hawks also lost 9 of their first ten, and then rallied to make the Midwest League Finals.
• South Bend is 0-for-11 in at-bats with the bases loaded this season, but got a bases loaded sacrifice fly last night from Stone.
• The Silver Hawks established a season high for runs in a game with six, and tied the team high with 13 hits last night.
• South Bend stole two bases last night, their first two successful attempts this season.
• South Bend was 5-for-13 with RISP last night, upping the team average to .200 in those situations on the year.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES:
• Bobby Borchering had three hits last night, including two more doubles. He now has six doubles out of seven hits this year.
• David Narodowski extended his hitting streak to four games last night (2-for-4), tying Diaz for the team high.
