LAST GAME: The South Bend Silver Hawks rallied from four runs down in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game, but couldn’t do it a second time in losing 11-7 to Bowling Green in 11 innings. Julio Cedeno had four RBIs for the Hot Rods, who evened the series at a game apiece. Alex Koronis (WP, 7-4) blew the game in the ninth but stayed in and got the win. Randy Rodriguez (LP, 0-4) was hit with the loss. David Nick and Bobby Borchering both had three hits and two RBIs for South Bend.

PLAYOFF RACE:
• With 15 games remaining, the Hawks are currently 4.5 games behind West Michigan for the final playoff spot.

TEAM NOTES:
• The Silver Hawks have won 2 of their last 3 series after losing or splitting the previous eight series.
• South Bend committed four errors in the game yesterday – their first four error game since committing five on July 2nd.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES:
• Keon Broxton continues to lead all of baseball with 19 triples. He has tied the MWL record for most triples in a season (established in 1954 by John Wyre of the Clinton Pirates).
• Ender Inciarte has hit in nine straight games. His career long is 10 games last season with Missoula.
