LAST GAME: Three early runs held up for the Silver Hawks in a 3-2 victory over the Bowling Green Hot Rods on Tuesday night. David Nick hit a sacrifice fly and Bobby Borchering had a solo home run in the first inning, with the third run scoring on an error in the second for the extend of the Hawks offense. Tyler Skaggs allowed just one run in 4.0 innings while Derek Eitel (WP, 2-0) allowed one run in the final 5.0 innings for the win. Albert Suarez (LP, 0-5) took the loss while Ty Morrison had two RBIs for the Hot Rods.

PLAYOFF RACE:
• With 13 games remaining, the Hawks are currently 3.5 games behind West Michigan for the final playoff spot.

TEAM NOTES:
• The Silver Hawks have won 3 of their last 4 series after losing or splitting the previous eight series.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES:
• Keon Broxton continues to lead all of baseball with 19 triples. He has tied the MWL record for most triples in a season (established in 1954 by John Wyre of the Clinton Pirates).
• Reliever Brian Budrow has not allowed a run in his last 15.2 innings pitched – a season high for him.
• Bobby Borchering has homered in two straight games, once from each side of the plate.
