LAST GAME: The Fort Wayne TinCaps continued to flex their collective muscles against the South Bend Silver Hawks Friday night, winning 11-3 at Parkview Field. All nine Fort Wayne batters had at least one hit, eight of the nine scored at least one run, and seven of the nine drove in at least one run in the rout. Blake Tekotte homered for the TinCaps, his second in as many nights and his fourth against the Silver Hawks this season. Daniel Robertson drove in three runs and Justin Baum added three hits for Fort Wayne. Alfredo Marte had a two run double and Marc Krauss had a RBI triple for the Silver Hawks. Wade Miley (LP, 3-6) allowed six runs in 4.1 innings for the loss. Stiven Osuna (WP, 3-6) shut out the Hawks through five innings to earn the victory.

TEAM NOTES:
· South Bend is one of four Eastern teams fighting for a second half playoff spot (with Dayton, Great Lakes, and Lansing).
· Fort Wayne has 14 home runs against South Bend in 14 games this season.
· Manager Mark Haley and his staff led the East All-Stars to a 6-3 win on Tuesday at Alliant Energy Field in Clinton, Iowa.
· South Bend finished the first half in a virtual tie for fourth place, percentage points behind the Dayton Dragons.
· South Bend has a losing record against every Eastern Division team but Lansing (1-6 WM, 1-7 GL, 1-13 FW, 3-5 DTN, 7-3 LAN).

INDIVIDUAL NOTES:
· Nelson Gomez has hit in 11 of his last 14 games, raising his average from .183 to .238
· Victor Estevez had two more hits Friday, bringing his average to .247 (up from .179 on June 9th).
· OF Marc Krauss has a seven game hitting streak (at least one hit in each game he has played with South Bend).
· RHP Bryan Woodall has lowered his ERA from 7.08 to 5.14 since June 5th.
