LAST GAME: The Fort Wayne TinCaps continue to control the season series with South Bend, defeating the Silver Hawks 7-2 on Saturday night at Parkview Field. Daniel Robertson had three hits, including a solo home run while scoring three runs and driving in two to pace the TinCaps. Cole Figueroa added a three-run double with Justin Baum adding a two-run homer for Fort Wayne. Ryan Cook (LP, 5-6) allowed six runs over 5.0 innings to suffer his sixth straight defeat. Justin Parker had three hits in his first game back from the DL, including an RBI and a run scored. Marc Krauss extended his hitting streak to eight games with a single in the 8th inning. Erik Davis (WP, 6-3) rebounded from a bad outing last time against the Hawks, holding them to just one run in 5.2 innings for the win.

TEAM NOTES:
· South Bend is one of four Eastern teams fighting for a second half playoff spot (with Dayton, Great Lakes, and Lansing).
· Fort Wayne has 16 home runs against South Bend in 15 games this season. The TinCaps have outscored South Bend 101-42.
· Manager Mark Haley and his staff led the East All-Stars to a 6-3 win on Tuesday at Alliant Energy Field in Clinton, Iowa.
· South Bend finished the first half in a virtual tie for fourth place, percentage points behind the Dayton Dragons.
· South Bend has a losing record against every Eastern Division team but Lansing (1-6 WM, 1-7 GL, 1-14 FW, 3-5 DTN, 7-3 LAN).

INDIVIDUAL NOTES:
· OF Marc Krauss has an eight game hitting streak (at least one hit in each game he has played with South Bend).
· Justin Parker had three hits Saturday in his first game since June 6th (left shoulder inflammation) raising his average to .312.
· RHP Bryan Woodall has lowered his ERA from 7.08 to 5.14 since June 5th.
· Ryan Cook has lost six straight starts, including four against the Fort Wayne TinCaps.
