Parker Placed on DL

You can read the full story here.

My take: He hasn't played since June 6th, and I think everyone was starting to get the feeling he wasn't going to be back until the second half anyhow. This just confirms it.

Marc Krauss, the second rounder added to the team yesterday, is expected to arrive right around game time tonight. He likely won't play in game one, but should be ready to go for game two.

  1. I heard he'll be out about another week, not sure. I did see him doing some practice drills the other day.

  3. I'm looking forward to Krauss as well, and hopefully Pollack too.

Although I will say this, there's plenty of excitement with this team already. Despite the rough June, this team has played a number of exciting games, just coming out on the wrong end of a lot of them. The Silver Hawks have had a number of runners on base, and have threatened with tying runs, winning runs, game changing runs, etc. all season long.
