Good News: So did Lansing and Great Lakes (Loons lost 20-2 to Quad Cities!)
Bad News: Bowling Green is winning in the 9th, so the Silver Hawks will likely drop to 2.5 games out of the wild card.
Full standings update in the morning. Silver Hawks are in desperate need of a win tomorrow.

Good and Bad of Monday Morning
The bad news is that I'm home sick, fighting off a pretty strong cold that developed the last day I was in Arizona. My voice sounds about as bad as it has in a long time, but at least I have 8 days before the Notre Dame exhibition game.
The good news for you is that because I am home today, it opens up more time for me to blog. I'm planning on posting a lot today, so make sure you come back often for updates.
The other good part of today is that I'm completely psyched about UK going back to the Final Four for the first time since 1998. As most of you know, I'm from Kentucky originally and I'm a diehard UK fan. Last night's victory over UNC is a big part of the reason why I have no voice left for today :)

Brandon Webb Throws Off Mound
I still don't have my computer back yet, so I'm posting this using only my incredible super human powers.
Actually, I'm using a shared computer at work, while still praying that Windows will be saved on my laptop, and all my hard work for the last two years won't be completely lost. It is in the hands of the professionals now, so hopefully all will be saved.
Anyhow, the reason for the post is because this story was too important to pass up: Former Silver Hawks pitcher Brandon Webb threw off of a mound for the first time the other day. I know that doesn't sound like a big deal, but when you are talking about a guy who finished either first or second in the Cy Young voting for three straight years (06-08), then anything he does in his recovery from surgery is very important to the Diamondbacks.
