Mother's Day "Pink at the Cove"

I've talked about this on the air the last few days, but on Sunday, we will be celebrating Mother's Day with "Pink at the Cove". The players will be wearing pink camo jerseys that will be auctioned and raffled off, with the profits benefitting Memorial Regional Breast Care Center.

The first 1,000 women age 16 and older will also receive a pink mini bat courtesy of Memorial Hospital.

You can see the uniforms below, as modeled by Emily Riggs and Dan Loding. If their careers in Minor League Baseball don't work out, I think they both have a future on the runway.

A very happy Mother's Day to all the moms who might read this blog. We'll have a special tribute for the moms in the pregame show today.

The players look pretty sharp in their pink jerseys as they are warming up for today's 2 PM game at Coveleski Stadium.
