LAST GAME: The Silver Hawks won their fourth in a row, setting a new season high, as they defeated the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 6-1 on Friday night. Trevor Harden (WP, 5-1) allowed just one run on four hits over 7.0 innings, earning his league-leading fifth victory of the season. Harden also struck out seven and walked just two in the game. Offensively, Alfredo Marte had two RBI on a single in the second, as the Hawks scored five times in the inning taking advantage of two Wisconsin errors. Jake Elmore and Justin Parker each added a RBI and two hits, with Parker extending his hitting streak to a season high 11 games. Daniel Vasquez (ND) pitched well in relief, shutting out the Timber Rattlers for the final 2.0 innings.

TEAM NOTES:
· At two games over .500, the Silver Hawks have their best record thus far of the 2009 season.
· South Bend played 17 of their first 24 games on the road, but in the midst of a 10-game and 11-day homestand.
· The Silver Hawks are currently on a four game winning streak, the longest of the 2009 season.
· The Timber Rattlers, today’s opponent, are winless on the road thus far this season (0-8).
· The Silver Hawks have hit three grand slams this season, all since April 28th.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES:
· Justin Parker’s current eleven game hitting streak is the longest on the team for 2009. Parker missed 5 games with flu, but returned to the lineup last night.
· Trevor Harden is alone in first place in the league with five wins this season. He also ranks 1st in innings pitched.
· Brendan Duffy ranks sixth in the league with a .341 batting average and second with a .448 on-base percentage.
