Metal Bleachers and School Kids Do Not Mix

About 2,000 school kids are expected at the game today in Burlington, and they will all be sitting on metal bleachers directly in front of, and to the left and right of the press box. The first group just arrived and I already feel the urge to pop some Advil. The beauties of minor league baseball. It makes it fun though, and it'll be a lot nicer to play in front of a full house instead of the reported 647 (actually about 300) fans for last night's game.

Oh, one other note. I forgot to charge the battery of my digital camera, so the pictures of Community Field will not be up until tomorrow afternoon before the game. Sorry.

Now, for today's lineup.

Duffy - LF
Marte - DH
Diaz - CF
Parker - 3B
Perez - C
Asencio - RF
Ramirez - 1B
Estevez - 2B
Navarro - SS

Rodriguez - SP
