Tonight stunk. That was a game that the Silver Hawks were in good position to win, and couldn't hold on. Obviously, anyone that listened to me knows that I'm surprised they stuck with Bradin Hagens as long as they did, but you know, that's baseball. There's certainly not one person to blame. Hagens pitched well but ran out of steam, the coaches wanted to get a longer outing from him, the offense went quiet after the second inning. A loss is a loss, let's move on.
Good News: Lansing and Bowling Green both lost
Bad News: Great Lakes rallied and won
The Silver Hawks remain 3.0 out of first, but are now 2.0 out of the wild card with 11 to play. Full standings update tomorrow on the blog plus a few more thoughts as I try to catch up from my weekend away.
