LAST GAME: The Silver Hawks scored four times in the top of the seventh of game two to sweep a doubleheader from Lansing, winning 9-5 in game one and 5-4 in game two. Trailing 4-1 entering the final inning, South Bend sent eight batters to the plate, scoring four to take the lead. Reynaldo Navarro’s two-out, two-RBI double was the big hit in the inning, leading the Silver Hawks to their first lead in the game. In game one, Jake Elmore had 5 RBI, including a three-run homer in the fifth and the tie-breaking two-run double in the sixth inning. T.J. Hose won game one in relief of Wade Miley, while Daniel Vasquez was the winning pitcher in game two. Bayron Zepeda earned his first save of the year in game two.

TEAM NOTES:
· Last night was the second doubleheader of the season, both against Lansing (split the first one, swept last night).
· The Silver Hawks overcame a 3-run deficit last night in game two, the largest come-from-behind win of the season.
· South Bend is going for their first series sweep against Lansing tonight. They have been swept once (by West Michigan).
· Silver Hawks pitchers have issued just 28 walks this season, fewest in the league.
· South Bend has played 10 of their first 13 games on the road, with one more versus Lansing before returning home.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES:
· Brendan Duffy went 0-for-4 yesterday, ending his hitting streak at seven games – a team high for 2009.
· Trevor Harden ranks T-2nd in the league with 17.0 IP. He is the first Hawks pitcher to get two wins on the season.
· Alberto Diaz and Jake Elmore have twice homered in the same game, including game one last night.
· Bayron Zepeda and Jordan Meaker have not allowed a run this season.
