I've always wondered who makes the decisions to keep some guys, and let others sit in extended training. There are a few silverhawks that have been trailing behind the rest, quite obviously based on the stats. Some of the players in extended training have been improving in leaps and bounds, and deserve to be put in that spot that is obviously lacking. Am I the only one that thinks this system is unfair?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure some people agree with you Anonymous, but it's not unfair in any way, shape, or form. Multiple people within the Diamondbacks organization have evaluated these players and determined what level they should be at.
ReplyDeleteThere are guys in AA that might do well in AAA, there are guys here in South Bend that might perform better than the guys in Visalia. That doesn't mean that they should go up immediately. It's a process and I trust Kevin Towers and the rest of the Diamondbacks that they know what they are doing.
