Jonathan Mayo of MiLB.com contacted me a few weeks ago to set up an interview with A.J. Pollock. After the two traded voice mails for a while, the story has been written and can be read here.
I found this little tidbit rather interesting:
"The Silver Hawks' attendance has seen a nice bump since South Bend's favorite son has come back as a pro. The club's season average: 2,494. In 10 home games with Pollock on the roster, it's climbed to 3,461. That, of course, isn't of immediate concern to Pollock, who's just trying to get the hang of the game at this level."
