LAST GAME: A two run single by Tyson Auer turned a one run deficit into a one run lead for Cedar Rapids in the fifth inning, and that’s all they would need to post a 2-1 victory over the Silver Hawks on Sunday afternoon. Manuel Flores (WP, 7-4) allowed only one run on six hits in 8.0 innings to earn the win. Taylor Sinclair (LP, 3-4) was the tough luck loser for the Hawks, allowing two runs on seven hits in 6.0 innings. Victor Estevez provided the only run of the game for South Bend, a solo homer in the third inning.
