Do you find that the level of baseball in the MWL tends to get better after the draft and new higher round players get signed and placed in your leagues?
I considered this on two rationales. First, the fact that higher round draft picks would get placed either at rookie ball or like Pollock brought right to the MWL. Second, the draft picks would be placed in lower levels of ball which could potentially lead to promotions of some of the players in lower leagues with better stats or potential.
Absolutely. I couldn't agree more with your statement. The best draft picks often go to places like the MWL, and strengthen the entire league. Then, the other draft picks go to the short season leagues, pushing up some of the better talent that was already there.
