PLAYOFF RACE:
• With 21 games remaining, the Hawks are currently 4.5 games behind West Michigan and Lansing for the final playoff spot.
• All 21 games left will be against Eastern Division opponents, with 17 of the 21 against other playoff hopefuls.
TEAM NOTES:
• The Silver Hawks were shut out for the 11th time this season in yesterday’s game. South Bend pitching has throws six shutouts.
• Silver Hawks starting pitchers have combined to go just 23-51 this season. The bullpen is 27-15.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES:
• Matt Davidson ranks second in the MWL with 79 RBIs. He’s also fourth in doubles (35) and second in XBH (54).
• Keon Broxton continues to lead all of baseball with 16 triples, despite not having one since July 25th vs. Wisconsin.
