PLAYOFF RACE:
• With 18 games remaining, the Hawks are currently 5.5 games behind West Michigan for the final playoff spot.
TEAM NOTES:
• South Bend pitchers allowed only eight hits last night, ending a stretch of six straight allowing 10 or more hits.
• Silver Hawks starting pitchers have combined to go just 23-52 this season. The bullpen is 28-16.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES:
• Keon Broxton continues to lead all of baseball with 18 triples, including one each of the last nights. He is one shy of MWL record.
• Victor Estevez (seven games) and Ender Inciarte (six games) are on individual high hitting streaks currently.
• Chris Jarrett had another RBI last night, giving him three in his first two games with the Silver Hawks.

The current record holder is John Wyre, who played for Clinton in 1954. He has 19. Keon has 18.
